BETH HILLEL ROMA

We are a Progressive/Reform Jewish community affiliated with the World Union of Progressive Judaism (WUPJ), which has over 1.8 million members in 50 countries and 1,250 congregations worldwide, and with its European branch, the European Union for Progressive Judaism (EUPJ). Beth Hillel Roma is also part of the Italian Federation for Progressive Judaism (FIEP).

Our community was officially established in 2014 by 10 founders with a vision, and today includes over 300 women, men, and children from over 20 countries.

We actively cooperate with other progressive Jewish communities in Italy and abroad to promote the principle of religious pluralism within Judaism, and together with other progressive Italian communities, we aspire to be recognized by the Union of Italian Jewish Communities (UCEI), with the hope that it may become the true common home of Italian Judaism.
